Josh Donellan Interview

Freya has wanted to be a nurse since she can remember. She’s been reading Notes on Nursing by Florence Nightingale obsessively since she was a young child, and the plan has always been to finish university, and then head overseas to do a whole lot of good. But while the university part has gone to plan, personal tragedies have intruded on the second part, and when a friend hands Freya a card ‘Light Duties Large Pay No Questions Asked’ it seems like a good break before life really begins. But the Vincetti family, who have placed the ad, are richer than god, and it seems they have more secrets than dollars. So what seemed like an easy job, is going to end up being a whole lot more complicated.

This is Killing Adonis, the third book by Josh Donellan, following on from A Beginners Guide to Dying in India and Zeb and the Great Ruckus. Josh joined Sky Kirkham to talk about wealth, capitalism, Brisbane, and suspense. Originally broadcast 25/09/2014. Killing Adonis is available through Pantera Press.
